Doug Gaehle—President: Doug is a senior at Missouri State University with a Public Relations Major and a minor in Ethical Leadership. As President, Doug is responsible for overseeing the organization. You can address the president with executive or administrative questions, questions about the national organization, PRSA, volunteer or internship opportunities, recruitment, and “how you can be involved with PRSSA,” this applies to local organizations and the community as well. Bethany Parry—Vice President: Bethany is a senior at Missouri State University studying Public Relations and Spanish. As Vice President, she promotes professional development, manages communications, and supports the president in anyway needed. The VP oversees the job shadowing event for PRSSA students every year and Bethany also manages the PRSSA blog. Lauren Harris—Director of Administration: Lauren is a junior Public Relations major with a minor in Ethics and Social Policy. As the Director of Administration, Lauren is responsible for recording minutes for each meeting, coordinating social events, finding volunteer opportunities in the Springfield community, and contacting local professionals to speak at meetings. Kim Perry—Director of Finance: Kim is a senior at Missouri State University. As the Chief Financial Officer, Kim is responsible for collecting both Chapter and National dues, oversee fundraising chairs, distribute Chapter funds, help prepare the annual budget, and keep accurate financial records. Sara McClendon—Firm Director: Sara McClendon will be graduating from Missouri State University in December 2011 with a major in Public Relations and minor in Marketing. She currently serves as the firm director for Missouri State University PRSSA's student-run PR firm, Bear Communications.
